Fredrick Schulman Chairman and Chief Executive Officer

Mr Schulman has over twenty-five years of experience in corporate and commercial finance, venture capital, leveraged buy-outs, investment banking, asset-based financing, and corporate and commercial law.

August 2006- Present:
Chairman (and organizer) of NewBank, a New York chartered commercial community bank, with main office/branch in Flushing, NY and branches in Ft. Lee and Closter, NJ

June 1982-Present:
Fredrick Schulman, Attorney at Law (licensed in New York)

April 2002-Present:
President and Director of East Coast Capital Holdings, Ltd., a Specialized Small Business Investment Company and Community Development Entity based in New York, New York and licensed by the U.S. Small Business Administration

September 2003-Present:
Chairman of Skyline Multimedia Entertainment, Inc., New York, NY, a publicly traded company

June 1999-Present:
Director of (and General Counsel to) Drinks Americas Holdings, Ltd., a publicly traded company

September 1999-April 2002:
President of Our Food Products Group, Inc., d/b/a Jardine Foods

September 1994-January 1999:
General Counsel and Investment Banker at RAS Securities Corp. New York, NY, becoming Executive Vice President and Director of Investment Banking (over 70 transactions funded, involving over $1 billion).

December 1977-May 1982:
Practiced corporate, commercial, and real estate law at Kahr, Spitzer and Howard and Bragar Spiegel Schulman Rubin and Driggin, in New York City.

 

Jerald Alan Belofsky Executive Vice President of Finance

Mr. Belofsky is the former Chief Executive Officer of Oppenheimer of North America and OIAG Inc. (Oppenheimer Investments AG in the United States). He was responsible for the Oppenheimer Group's investment banking activities in the emerging markets in real estate, corporate finance, capital markets and financial advisory assignments. He also led the Group's government relations activities including those with the United States departments of State and Commerce, as well as the World Bank and other multilateral agencies.

He previously started and ran the merchant banking activities in North America for Pierson Heldring & Pierson and its successor MeesPierson which was owned ultimately by the ABN-AMRO bank. As President and Senior Managing Director he built the merchant bank from one location in New York City to offices in Boston, Chicago, San Francisco and Los Angeles. Subsequently he started and managed private placement offices in London and Geneva which included institutional coverage of clients in the Middle East. Mr. Belofsky was the only non-Dutch national on the investment banking new business committee of the bank in Amsterdam. He also represented the bank on the boards of numerous portfolio investments in shipping, real estate, communications, venture capital, medical and money management companies.

Mr. Belofsky began his investment banking career at Bear Stearns where he ran the equipment leasing and project finance activities of the bank and also worked in the real estate and special project groups.

He is a graduate in public communications from Boston University, has a graduate degree in finance from New York University and a law degree from George Washington University Law School. He is a member of the New Jersey and Florida Bar Associations. Mr. Belofsky has taught communications, finance and investor relations at Fairleigh Dickinson, Rutgers and Columbia Universities.
